Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and acrobat. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, an American comedy show. But, she is primarily an artist. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something she has dabbled in since she was only nine years old. At the age of 12, music became important enough to start training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her first album of cover songs. Since then there has been nothing but positive. Orrantia is an American native with Hispanic roots. While she has never lived in or spoke Spanish in Mexico However, she is extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. Her goal is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the Spanish language. She recorded an Spanish version of a track called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X Factor when she uploaded a YouTube audition video. The judge gave her the four "yes" vote by the judge on the live stage in Seattle. She was originally a solo performer, but after "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were placed in a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week during the live show.
