Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books as well as Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002, has 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began her writing career by creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets for the White House. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual challenge that came with her work, but she quickly lost interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant.
